What's up everybodyyyyy! I hope you all had a solid week! This week was a lot calmer than the past few have been, probably because we are now only covering one ward and the social media pages and not three wards. We have two more Sisters living with us now and it's so fun. I taught them how to play Egyptian Rat Slap/Slap me Silly Shagadelico so that's been a pretty good time. Living with three Sisters who all don't speak english is helping me a lot with the language! They do all make fun of me for the amount of fruit that I eat as I buy so much every single pday, but such is life. I just tell them all the time that I am "mais feliz de um pinto no lixo" and they just crack up. It is a phrase that means you are just really happy, translated it means "I am happier than a chick in the trash." I love slang.
Our prayers were answered this week as Elizandra was able to enter into the divorse process! This hopefully means she and Reginaldo can get married and baptized within the next month which we are super excited about! We also had someone new come to Church with us yesterday which was awesome! In terms of Facebook work, we made a new ad last Friday about why we are here on Earth. When we got to the office on Wednesday, we had about 70 messages-so many people wanted to learn more about their purpose in life and God's plan for them! I've said it once but I'll say it again, the work of the Lord is moving forward.
As I am still working in the mission office two days a week, I decided to start listening to conference talks and BYU devotionals instead of the 2021 youth album for the 209th time. And it has been really awesome. One BYU devo I listened to this week was by Elder Callister and he talked about how the Book of Mormon must have been translated by Joseph Smith by the power of God. It was super powerful, I would highly recommend it! I am so thankful for the Book of Mormon in my life and the truths it contains. If any of you have favorite conference talks or BYU devos you want to pass my way I am always looking for recommendations, we spend about 16 hours in the office per week!
Love and miss you all, I hope you have a great week! Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!
Com todo de meu amor,
