Weeks 16 & 17: Temples and Car Washes!!

Hello everyone!!!!

I have to apologize for not writing last week! I had the amazing opportunity to go to Medford and go to the temple! I am so thankful for temples and how they help us feel God's love for us! It was also awesome that I got to see my parents again for a little bit! Also Medford has an In n Out so it was overall a great day!

In terms of people we are teaching we have been meeting with Deb for the past couple of weeks. In the past she has been meeting with Elders so we're the first Sisters she has met with. Deb told us she really liked meeting with Sisters because she felt she could open up and talk to us a lot more which was so good to hear! Originally she told the elders she no longer wanted to talk to missionaries because of all the switching that's been going on so I'm thankful Deb gave us a chance. Sister Massey and I also had the chance to travel to a baptism! Since I've been in Klamath I've heard about Bob and Joyce and it has been a process to get them ready for baptism. But, they were finally ready so we made the two hour drive to Lakeview to go support them! It was so cute we were talking to Joyce and she said, "I know you Sisters! I love watching you in your Facebook videos you're so cute." So at least I know someone is watching my videos:))

In other news our Zone held a free car wash on Saturday and it was super successful! We had over 100 cars come and lots of people wanted to know why 20 young people were out on a Saturday washing cars, and we were more than happy to tell them! A highlight of the car wash was definitely when one of the elders pulled a dead bird out of the grill of someone's truck. The things that go on in Klamath.

I hope you all have an amazing week! Let me know if there's anything I can do for you!!
