Week 41: BRAZIL IS CALLING!!

 Olá!

Just got off the phone with my Mission President and he told me I'm headed to my original assignment in Brazil on April 2!!! I'm going to miss Oregon a ton, but I'm BEYOND excited to get to go! Send tips of how to learn Portuguese please!

This week was pretty crazy! We did two rounds of exchanges and had a mission conference in Eugene, so Sister Bennett and I listened to a lot of BYU devotionals this week to say the least

I don't really have a whole lot of related things to tell you all about, so here's a list of some things that happened!
-got stuck on the side of a mountain and had this nice guy come help us push our car
-made pão de queijo with Jake and his wife and now they're interested in doing family history!
-went to Eugene for a meeting and stopped by the mission office where I got to see my passport for the first time in a year
-went on exchanges with two different Sisters! One here in Corvallis and one on the coast. While on the coast we had a lesson with a recent convert who went on a 50 minute rant about COVID.
-ate a bite of grape pie. Cinnamon and grape should never be a combo I'll leave it at that
-thanks to a Sister in my Zone, the picture of third grade me playing basketball has once again resurfaced on Facebook and is traveling throughout the Oregon Eugene Mission. Little did I know when I gave thanks for sports back in November this picture would show up on everyone's Facebook feed about once a month.
-found out daylight savings was happening roughly 10 hours before I lost my hour of sleep

Lots of random thoughts for you this week! But the point is missions are awesome and I'm loving every second! Corvallis is the place to be let me tell you!

Love you all! Thanks for all the love and support

Com todo de meu amor,
Sister Johnson!

1. Mary's peak (where we got stuck, I forget not everyone has driven in the snow before)
2. Volleyball with the Sisters
3. On top of Mary's peak after getting the car unstuck
4. Exchange with Sister Piena!
