Week 39: Tender Mercies

 Olááá tudo bem??

Well as the subject suggests, this week was full of tender mercies!
1. Zoe is for real getting baptized!! We were finally able to get a hold of her after three weeks. She'd been having some rough stuff go on in her personal life, but told us during all of it she had turned to prayer and The Book of Mormon to find peace. We are so excited for Saturday!!!
2. I got a call from one of the Office Missionaries telling me my passport and visa arrived! While that doesn't mean I'm leaving immediately, I'm very hopeful I will go to Brazil in the next couple of weeks!
3. We had Zone Conference in Eugene and we were combined with the Santa Clara Zone where one of my past companions Sister Staheli is serving! So I got to see her for the first time in two months which was amazing!
4. We went to Coldstone as a group of Sisters and they made my ice cream too big so I got more ice cream for a cheaper price (always a W)
5. Zone Conference was amazing as always, especially when your Mission President walks up to you and your companion and tells you he really enjoyed your beatboxing recorder mashup video. I've attached it for your viewing pleasure:)
6. We got to play volleyball, disk golf, ultimate frisbee, and kickball to find new people and help those we are already teaching make new friends in the ward! We were able to find two new people!
7. On Saturday there was a baptism for someone one of my other past companions Sister Christensen knew when she served in Corvallis so she came by and I got to see her, too!!

It's a great day to be a missionary! I love my Savior Jesus Christ! I love hearing from all of you! Have the best week ever!!

Com todo de meu amor,
Sister Johnson!!
